What this policy covers
This policy explains what Baltimore Movers collects, why we collect it, and how we protect it. It applies to everyone who fills out a quote form, books a move, calls the office, emails us or otherwise hands over personal information so we can do the job.
What we collect
- Contact details — name, phone, email and the origin and destination addresses for your move
- Move details — inventory, packing notes, building access notes, date windows
- Payment information — processed by a PCI-compliant gateway; we do not store full card numbers on our servers
- Site analytics — anonymized traffic data so we can keep the site fast and useful
Why we collect it
To send you an accurate flat-rate quote, schedule the crew, pull your building’s COI, send confirmations and reminders, and follow up after the move. We do not sell your information to lead brokers. We do not pass your contact details to third-party movers. Your inventory and addresses stay with our office.
Who sees your information inside the company
Inside Baltimore Movers, your information is only visible to staff who need it to do the work — Theresa in the office for scheduling and billing, Marcus on dispatch for the truck board, and the assigned crew chief for the move itself. Background-checked W-2 employees only.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that don’t turn into bookings are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Completed-move records are kept as long as state, federal and tax rules require. You can ask us to delete records that aren’t required by law at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time what we have on file, request a correction, or request deletion. Email the office and we’ll confirm receipt and act on it.
Cookies and the site itself
The website uses standard cookies to remember preferences and measure traffic. You can disable them in your browser without breaking the quote form.
