Why I publish the routes we actually run
If you’re moving across state lines I want you to know upfront what corridor you’ll be on, how long it usually takes, and roughly what the number looks like. Reggie Vance leads our long-haul side and runs the I-95 corridor weekly. Below are the routes we move most often, with realistic transit windows and one-bedroom price anchors so you can plan.
The short-haul lanes — under 250 miles
- Baltimore → Washington, DC — about 40 miles on I-95 or the B-W Parkway, same-day or next-day delivery, one-bedroom anchors run roughly $850–$1,250
- Baltimore → Philadelphia — about 100 miles up I-95, same- or next-day, one-bedroom $1,500–$2,150
- Baltimore → New York — about 190 miles I-95 through NJ, 1–2 days, one-bedroom $1,850–$2,650
- Baltimore → Pittsburgh — about 245 miles via I-70 and I-76, 1–2 days through the Pennsylvania mountains
- Baltimore → Richmond — about 155 miles south on I-95, 1–2 days
- Baltimore → Norfolk — about 220 miles via I-64 and I-95 down through Hampton Roads, 1–2 days
