How long is Baltimore to NYC, really?
Drive time is about four hours on a clean run up I-95, but with a Manhattan or Brooklyn delivery I plan for a one-to-two day window so we don't fight rush hour at the Holland Tunnel or pull into a Brooklyn block at 6 p.m. That's all on the written quote.
Do you do walk-ups and freight elevators in the boroughs?
Constantly. We work three-story walk-ups all the time in Hampden and Federal Hill, so Brooklyn brownstones and Upper East Side fifth-floor walk-ups are familiar terrain. Tomás handles the COI and freight-elevator window with the building before we leave Baltimore.
Is there a long-carry charge in Manhattan?
Not from me. The written flat rate includes the long carries we expect on a NYC delivery. If a block is closed and we genuinely have to shuttle, I show that in the quote — never sprung at the door.
