Send me a written Charm City figure

A countersigned Baltimore Movers quote — the price the rowhouse pays at unload matches the figure on the page — takes a sixty-second form.

Whatever you type into this form sits on Theresa's desk in our Charm City office, used solely to price your Baltimore haul — never punted to a third party, never bundled into a contact-broker list, never spun up into a drip campaign.

Short-term storage for when your dates don’t line up

Closings slip. Leases don’t end the day the new one starts. The sellers ask for a two-week rent-back. I’ve been moving Baltimore Movers customers since 2018, and short-term storage solves all three of those problems without you having to rent a U-Haul box from a national chain.

The warehouse is at our East-Baltimore yard, climate-watched, alarmed, and camera-monitored. Marcus Hollins in dispatch holds your trailer in the lot for the first 72 hours at no extra charge, then we wheel it into the warehouse and bill by the day.

How short-term storage actually works

  • Crew loads you out of your old place, pad-wrapped and inventoried
  • Truck either parks in our yard (≤72 hours, free) or unloads into the warehouse
  • Inventory is tagged by room so we can find your kitchen boxes in 30 seconds
  • When the new place is ready, my crew loads the same truck and unloads at the new address

What it actually costs

Duration Crew rate Typical storage cost
≤72 hours (trailer in our yard) Load + unload at $155/hr or $205/hr Free
1 week (studio / 1-bed) Load + unload, flat-rate quoted $155–$310
1 month (1–2 bedroom) Load + unload, flat-rate quoted $310–$725
1 month (3–4 bedroom) Load + unload, flat-rate quoted $725–$1,550

What I include in every storage job

  1. Pad-wrap, shrink-wrap, and a printed inventory before anything goes in
  2. Released value at $0.60/lb in the warehouse, full-value optional
  3. Up to $1,000,000 cargo coverage per shipment on the truck both ways
  4. Same crew chief on the load-in and the load-out whenever Marcus can stack it that way

Pair storage with a full residential move or a long-distance run down the I-95 corridor. If the closing on the new house is in Columbia or Annapolis, we’ll stage the trailer locally so the second leg of the move is short and cheap.

What is folded into your Baltimore, MD flat rate

  • Pad-wrap, shrink-wrap, and inventory tag on every piece before it goes into storage
  • Climate-watched, alarmed, and camera-monitored warehouse at our East-Baltimore yard
  • Daily, weekly, or monthly billing — pay only for the days your stuff actually sits with us
  • Same crew that loaded you out delivers you back in — no warehouse handoff to a sub
  • Free 72-hour grace window when a closing slips a couple of days
  • Climate-aware scheduling — we don't load straight into the truck on a 95° August afternoon

What will it run?

Two uniformed movers + the truck on the clock at $155/hr, or close the meter entirely with one countersigned Charm City flat number covering the full job in writing

Moving pads, four-wheel dollies, shrink film and the standard COI paperwork that Inner Harbor and Harbor East buildings demand are folded into either rate. A bump to three movers plus the rig sits at $205/hr.

Questions on this service

How long can I keep my stuff in storage with you?
Anywhere from one day to a few months. Most folks need a few days to a few weeks while a closing or a new lease lines up. Theresa bills daily for the first week, then weekly or monthly — whichever is cheaper for you.
Is the warehouse climate-controlled?
It's climate-watched — heated in winter, ventilated against Mid-Atlantic summer humidity. I won't promise lab-grade climate control, but your couch isn't sitting in a snowbank in January or a 110-degree metal box in August either.
What if my closing slips a day or two after the truck loads?
You get a free 72-hour grace window. The trailer parks in our yard at no extra charge while you sort the closing date out with the title company. That's been our rule since 2018.
Does the same crew that loaded me out deliver me back in?
Yes — whenever the schedule allows. Marcus Hollins in dispatch does his best to put the same crew chief on both ends so nothing gets re-shuffled in the warehouse.
How it works

Booking a Charm City move with our crew, step by step

1

Drop the basics in the form

Both ZIPs, your target date, and the rough size of the home — takes about a minute, no obligation, and no charge to ask for the figure.

2

Read the binding written rate

One signed Maryland flat figure lands in your inbox, locked on paper. That is the number, full stop — no clock running on the crew once the marble stoop gets worked.

3

Our Baltimore Movers truck pulls in

Badged W-2 movers on an in-house Baltimore Movers truck arrive in the booked window, and the same faces stay on the job from the first blanket-wrap to the last box set in place at the new address.

Licensed in Maryland

Maryland PSC licensed, insured & owner-run — on every Charm City job

US DOT & MC authorityActive federal authority stands behind us the moment your load leaves Baltimore, MD — south on I-95 toward Washington DC and Richmond, up the corridor to Philadelphia, NYC and Boston, or west on I-70 to Pittsburgh.
Maryland PSC HHG permitA Maryland PSC household-goods moving permit sits on file with the state, alongside the US DOT and MC authority above — we are properly licensed to move Maryland households, not a broker farming the job out to whoever picks up the load.
$1,000,000 cargo coverageEvery box, sofa and bed frame loaded onto a Baltimore Movers truck moves under a $1M cargo policy as standard; full-value valuation rides as an upgrade option when a Roland Park art collection or a Mt. Vernon antique cabinet wants tighter coverage.
Workers’ comp & liabilityEvery uniformed crew member punching the clock for Baltimore Movers is enrolled in active Maryland workers' comp plus general liability — a strained back inside your formstone rowhouse, a slip on the marble stoop, a scrape in the English basement gets billed straight to our policy, not the homeowner.

Move Coming Up? Hand It To Our Baltimore, MD Crew.

Theresa countersigns the Charm City quote and emails it back — on a Mon-Fri the turnaround tends to clear well inside a single business hour. The figure that lands in your inbox is the same figure the rowhouse settles at the curb, with zero late-stage line items wedged into the small print.
