Send me a written Charm City figure

A countersigned Baltimore Movers quote — the price the rowhouse pays at unload matches the figure on the page — takes a sixty-second form.

Whatever you type into this form sits on Theresa's desk in our Charm City office, used solely to price your Baltimore haul — never punted to a third party, never bundled into a contact-broker list, never spun up into a drip campaign.

Full-service packing — the afternoon ahead of the Charm City lift

About a third of my customers don’t want to touch a box. Their kitchen has thirty years of china, their basement has the holiday bins, and the closets have wardrobes deeper than the rowhouse itself. So my crew shows up the day before move day with paper, cartons, and tape, and packs the whole house.

The same uniformed movers who pack you on Friday load you on Saturday. Same names, same shirts, same truck. Nothing gets handed off to a packing sub I’ve never met, because I don’t use subs.

What a full-pack day actually looks like

  • Crew arrives with a truck full of cartons and a roll of pre-printed inventory labels
  • Kitchen and china go first — every plate paper-wrapped, every glass cell-packed in a dish-pack
  • Closets get wardrobe boxes loaned out the morning of, so clothes travel hanging
  • Art, mirrors, and marble-top pieces get corner-board and custom crates where it counts
  • Each box is labeled by room and tagged on the inventory before it’s stacked in the corner

Partial packing is a real option too

  1. Kitchen + china only — a typical four-hour add-on with two packers
  2. Kitchen + closets + art — a full day with two packers for a townhome
  3. Whole house — one to two days with three packers for a 4-bed Roland Park Victorian

Packing pricing

Job Crew Typical flat rate
Kitchen + china only 2 packers @ $155/hr $465–$775
Studio / 1-bed full pack 2 packers @ $155/hr $620–$1,080
2-bed rowhouse full pack 3 packers @ $205/hr $1,025–$1,640
4-bed Roland Park Victorian 3 packers, 1–2 days $2,250–$3,750

Cartons, paper, tape, mattress bags, and wardrobe boxes are all included in the binding flat rate. Released value at $0.60/lb is standard; full-value protection is optional; up to $1,000,000 cargo coverage per shipment.

Pair the pack with my residential moving the next day, or with a long-distance haul down the I-95 corridor — Theresa stacks the schedule so the same crew runs both days. Coming out of a Mt. Vernon brownstone? Those four-story walk-ups are our specialty.

What is folded into your Baltimore, MD flat rate

  • Full pack of every room — kitchen, closets, bathrooms, garage, and the basement storage room
  • All cartons supplied: dish-pack, wardrobe, mirror, lamp, picture-frame, and mattress bags
  • Premium packing paper, double-walled boxes, and corner-board on art and mirrors
  • Custom crating for marble-top dressers, glass dining tables, and Mt. Vernon mantel art
  • Itemized inventory by room and box, taped to the binding flat-rate estimate
  • Unpack-and-debris-removal option — boxes flattened and hauled off after the unload

What will it run?

Two uniformed movers + the truck on the clock at $155/hr, or close the meter entirely with one countersigned Charm City flat number covering the full job in writing

Moving pads, four-wheel dollies, shrink film and the standard COI paperwork that Inner Harbor and Harbor East buildings demand are folded into either rate. A bump to three movers plus the rig sits at $205/hr.

Questions on this service

Do you pack the day before the move?
Almost always, yes. Big rowhouses or four-bedroom Roland Park Victorians may take two days of packing before move day; smaller apartments get packed the same morning the truck loads. Theresa schedules it so the kitchen is the last thing wrapped.
What if I just want the kitchen and china packed and I'll do the rest?
That's partial packing and we do plenty of it — about half my full-pack customers ask for kitchen + china + art + closets only. I price it as a flat add-on to the move, not by the box.
Are the packing materials really included in the flat rate?
Yes — cartons, paper, tape, mattress bags, and wardrobe boxes are all in the binding number. I don't itemize a $4 dish-pack on the invoice. Whatever your kitchen needs, your kitchen gets.
Can you unpack on the other end?
Yes — we'll unpack every box into the kitchen cabinets, the closet shelves, and the linen drawers, then flatten the cartons and haul the debris back to our yard. It's a separate flat-rate line item on the estimate.
How it works

Booking a Charm City move with our crew, step by step

1

Drop the basics in the form

Both ZIPs, your target date, and the rough size of the home — takes about a minute, no obligation, and no charge to ask for the figure.

2

Read the binding written rate

One signed Maryland flat figure lands in your inbox, locked on paper. That is the number, full stop — no clock running on the crew once the marble stoop gets worked.

3

Our Baltimore Movers truck pulls in

Badged W-2 movers on an in-house Baltimore Movers truck arrive in the booked window, and the same faces stay on the job from the first blanket-wrap to the last box set in place at the new address.

Licensed in Maryland

Maryland PSC licensed, insured & owner-run — on every Charm City job

US DOT & MC authorityActive federal authority stands behind us the moment your load leaves Baltimore, MD — south on I-95 toward Washington DC and Richmond, up the corridor to Philadelphia, NYC and Boston, or west on I-70 to Pittsburgh.
Maryland PSC HHG permitA Maryland PSC household-goods moving permit sits on file with the state, alongside the US DOT and MC authority above — we are properly licensed to move Maryland households, not a broker farming the job out to whoever picks up the load.
$1,000,000 cargo coverageEvery box, sofa and bed frame loaded onto a Baltimore Movers truck moves under a $1M cargo policy as standard; full-value valuation rides as an upgrade option when a Roland Park art collection or a Mt. Vernon antique cabinet wants tighter coverage.
Workers’ comp & liabilityEvery uniformed crew member punching the clock for Baltimore Movers is enrolled in active Maryland workers' comp plus general liability — a strained back inside your formstone rowhouse, a slip on the marble stoop, a scrape in the English basement gets billed straight to our policy, not the homeowner.

Move Coming Up? Hand It To Our Baltimore, MD Crew.

Theresa countersigns the Charm City quote and emails it back — on a Mon-Fri the turnaround tends to clear well inside a single business hour. The figure that lands in your inbox is the same figure the rowhouse settles at the curb, with zero late-stage line items wedged into the small print.
