Send me a written Charm City figure

A countersigned Baltimore Movers quote — the price the rowhouse pays at unload matches the figure on the page — takes a sixty-second form.

Whatever you type into this form sits on Theresa's desk in our Charm City office, used solely to price your Baltimore haul — never punted to a third party, never bundled into a contact-broker list, never spun up into a drip campaign.

Commercial moves across Greater Baltimore

Office moves don’t care about your move date — they care about Monday morning. Your team has to sit down at the new desk, plug in the laptop, and work. That’s the whole job. So my commercial crew at Baltimore Movers runs Friday night through Sunday afternoon on most builds, with the binding commercial flat figure countersigned and dated on Theresa’s desk well ahead of the first cubicle teardown.

I started doing commercial work in 2016 after a buddy needed his accounting practice moved out of a Mt. Vernon brownstone over a Saturday. Word got around. Now we do everything from three-person Hampden retail buildouts to forty-workstation Inner Harbor relocations.

Commercial moves we run every month

  • Inner Harbor and Harbor East office towers — COIs both ends, freight elevators booked
  • Hunt Valley corporate parks and Owings Mills office campuses
  • Towson medical and dental practices with imaging gear
  • Hampden, Federal Hill, and Fells Point retail buildouts
  • Howard County tech offices in Columbia and Ellicott City
  • Interstate office moves down the I-95 corridor to DC, Philly, Richmond, and Charlotte

The weekend playbook

  1. Walk the office Tuesday — count workstations, file cabinets, conference rooms, and the IT closet
  2. Friday evening — pack the desks, label by department, dis-assemble cubicles
  3. Saturday — load the trucks, drive across town or down I-95, unload onto the new floor
  4. Sunday — reassemble cubicles, reset conference tables, place every box at the right desk

Commercial pricing

Job size Crew Typical flat rate
Small retail / 3–5 desks 3 movers @ $205/hr $1,025–$1,540
10–15 workstation office 4 movers, flat-rate quoted $2,650–$4,650
25–40 workstation tower 6 movers, weekend, flat-rate $6,250–$11,500
Interstate office to DC/Philly Dedicated truck, flat-rate quoted on walk-through

Released value at $0.60/lb is included; full-value protection is optional; up to $1,000,000 cargo coverage per shipment. Need the kitchen and break-room packed before move day? Add my full-service packing crew. Moving the office to DC or up to New York? Those are two of my most common interstate commercial routes, and a Towson relocation often pairs with a Hunt Valley pickup the same weekend.

What is folded into your Baltimore, MD flat rate

  • After-hours and weekend scheduling so your team works Monday morning at the new desk
  • COI filed with both buildings — old tower and new — plus loading-dock and freight-elevator booking
  • Color-coded labels by department and floor so workstations land where the org chart says they go
  • IT-room handling: server racks, monitors, and conference-room AV pad-wrapped and crated
  • Reassembly of cubicle systems, workstations, and conference tables on the destination side
  • Debris haul-off — pallets, packing paper, and old cardboard pulled from the destination floor

What will it run?

Two uniformed movers + the truck on the clock at $155/hr, or close the meter entirely with one countersigned Charm City flat number covering the full job in writing

Moving pads, four-wheel dollies, shrink film and the standard COI paperwork that Inner Harbor and Harbor East buildings demand are folded into either rate. A bump to three movers plus the rig sits at $205/hr.

Questions on this service

Can you move an Inner Harbor or Harbor East office over a weekend?
Yes — most of our commercial work runs Friday night into Sunday afternoon so the team is at the new desk Monday. We file COIs with both buildings, book both freight elevators, and stage the trucks at the loading docks.
Do you move server racks and IT equipment?
Yes. Server racks get pad-wrap, anti-static shrink, and crated transport on the truck. Monitors travel in dedicated cartons with corner-board. I recommend you have your IT contractor power-down and re-rack — we handle the move, they handle the cabling.
Are you licensed to move a Baltimore business interstate?
Yes — Maryland PSC household-goods moving permit plus US DOT and MC authority for interstate. We move offices from Baltimore to DC, Philly, NYC, Richmond, and as far as Atlanta on the same binding flat rate I'd write for a residential job.
How do you price a commercial move?
Almost always flat-rate. I walk the office with your facilities lead, count workstations, file cabinets, and conference rooms, then write a binding flat rate on the estimate before we touch a thing. Hourly work happens only on the very small retail jobs.
How it works

Booking a Charm City move with our crew, step by step

1

Drop the basics in the form

Both ZIPs, your target date, and the rough size of the home — takes about a minute, no obligation, and no charge to ask for the figure.

2

Read the binding written rate

One signed Maryland flat figure lands in your inbox, locked on paper. That is the number, full stop — no clock running on the crew once the marble stoop gets worked.

3

Our Baltimore Movers truck pulls in

Badged W-2 movers on an in-house Baltimore Movers truck arrive in the booked window, and the same faces stay on the job from the first blanket-wrap to the last box set in place at the new address.

Licensed in Maryland

Maryland PSC licensed, insured & owner-run — on every Charm City job

US DOT & MC authorityActive federal authority stands behind us the moment your load leaves Baltimore, MD — south on I-95 toward Washington DC and Richmond, up the corridor to Philadelphia, NYC and Boston, or west on I-70 to Pittsburgh.
Maryland PSC HHG permitA Maryland PSC household-goods moving permit sits on file with the state, alongside the US DOT and MC authority above — we are properly licensed to move Maryland households, not a broker farming the job out to whoever picks up the load.
$1,000,000 cargo coverageEvery box, sofa and bed frame loaded onto a Baltimore Movers truck moves under a $1M cargo policy as standard; full-value valuation rides as an upgrade option when a Roland Park art collection or a Mt. Vernon antique cabinet wants tighter coverage.
Workers’ comp & liabilityEvery uniformed crew member punching the clock for Baltimore Movers is enrolled in active Maryland workers' comp plus general liability — a strained back inside your formstone rowhouse, a slip on the marble stoop, a scrape in the English basement gets billed straight to our policy, not the homeowner.

Move Coming Up? Hand It To Our Baltimore, MD Crew.

Theresa countersigns the Charm City quote and emails it back — on a Mon-Fri the turnaround tends to clear well inside a single business hour. The figure that lands in your inbox is the same figure the rowhouse settles at the curb, with zero late-stage line items wedged into the small print.
